Happy Birthday Jessie...

Yesterday I turned 10. My mom is finding it hard to believe as I came to her when I was just 2 1/2 months old. For my birthday I unwrapped a Cookie Monster stuffie, 2 treat sticks, a box of fruit seeds and 2 boxes that I  love to chew up. I also had a refreshing birthday shower and blow dry.

 

Watching my fish...

I now have 2 fish to entertain me, a Betta and a Danio. You can't really see them in these pictures but I do love to watch them swim. These were taken today right after my mom cleaned their vase.

So you want to see my fish ? Ahh here they are a few weeks ago just after mom brought them home. Originally there were 2 Danios but the smaller one died the next day. Mom took her time choosing the Betta with the nicest fins.

And here is a picture of the vase they are in, this was taken before their was water in it. They now have this fake plant pictured below in their vase, but for 3-4 weeks they had a beautiful live plant, but after a few cleanings it finally bit the dust yesterday. This vase was originally $70 in the store, mom paid $9.

Merry Christmas everyone...

Wow what a fun day for me, the man they call Santa Claus came last night and left presents for me to open, he always brings me such fun stuff. Here are some of the pictures my mommy took today...

And last but not least...

And after all that, they gave me turkey, mashed potatoes, carrots and my favorite cranberry sauce. Mmmm what a fun day! Happy New Year everyone!

What a dirty beak...

Sometimes in the mornings I wake up looking like this from chewing my rope perch and doing other things, and I need moms help washing my beak. I guess she doesn't want to kiss me looking like this, so she wets my wash cloth with warm water and goes to work massaging my beak until I'm clean and kissable.

I love to chew...

I was so busy chewing my toy today, I didn't even notice when mom called me for lunch, she put it in my dish and walked away! I was loving it!

And mom wonders why she needs to get me a new bed once in a while!
